President of the Republic of Singapore Halimah Yacob recently graced the official opening of The Podium. The opening was one of the highlights of President Halimah’s state visit to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Philippines-Singapore diplomatic relations.
A joint venture between the Philippines’ BDO Unibank and Singapore’s Keppel Land Limited, the newly completed Podium expansion showcased the strong ties, shared expertise and successful collaboration between Philippine and Singapore industry leaders.
Accompanying President Halimah was her spouse Mohamed Abdullah Alhabshee. Also present were Singapore officials: Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for Education Indranee Rajah, Senior Minister of State Dr. Koh Poh Koon, Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Ho Wei Hong and Deputy Chief of Mission Zhou Suli.
