SM Foundation Inc., the social inclusion arm of SM group of companies, recently turned over the newly-renovated neuro-developmental clinic of the outpatient department of the pediatrics section of East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) as a present from SM founder Henry Sy Sr. and his family.
The newly-renovated EAMC pedia ward in the OPD, now called neuro-developmental clinic (NDC) will be headed by Carina Cruz-Quimbo of the Neonatal ICU. The NDC is a sub-specialty of the department of pediatrics where the development of children are monitored to see if their mental development is in accordance with their age.
