(18 June 2012) To cap the centennial celebration of De La Salle University, members of the Sy Family graced the blessing of the Henry Sy, Sr. Centennial Hall, an eco-friendly multi-purpose building donated by SM chairman and founder, Mr. Henry Sy, Sr. Present were Ms. Elizabeth Sy, President of SM Hotels; Ms. Teresita Sy-Coson, Vice Chairperson of SM Investments Corporation; Mrs. Felicidad Sy, wife of Mr. Henry Sy, Sr.; Mr. Hans Sy, President of SM Prime Holdings and Mr. Herbert Sy, Director of the SM Food Retail Group together with members of the clergy and De La Salle University officials. The Henry Sy, Sr. Hall will be the first academic structure to be rated with the Philippine Green Building Council’s “Berde” standard, a measure of a structure’s ecologically responsive design excellence.
