In time for its 175th anniversary, Watsons held a joint medical mission with SM Foundation on May 6 at SM City Sta. Mesa.
Entitled ‘AnniverSaya, 175 Healthy, Happy Families’, the medical mission provided free health services such as medical consultations, dental check-ups, basic laboratory tests and medicines to the participants present.
Additionally, the first 175 families who registered received special gift packs from Watsons.
A mini-fair was also set up near the medical mission area where families and other mall-goers availed of free health and beauty services and products from Watsons product partners Unilever, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Celine, Cherrifer and Trolli Candies.
Watsons started in 2002 in the Philippines and has been partnering with SM Foundation through is medical missions since 2012. Overall, SM Foundation has already conducted over 1,150 medical missions, benefitting more than 849,700 patients since it started in 2001.
