Trace Together can be done in three simple steps when visiting your preferred SM mall, department store, hotel or any of SM’s retail affiliates nationwide – scan the QR code at the entrance, fill up the health declaration form and show the form to enter.
As you get ready for your next visit to your local SM mall for your essentials and more, here are some important things to know as to why this new contact tracing system is important.
- Prevention of the spread of the virus. By registering to Trace Together, you can take part in the collective effort to combat the spread of COVID-19 as the contact tracing program helps track and lower the risk of virus transmission.
- Go to different places easily. No need to log on to different platforms multiple times within the day. This contact tracing system provides a unified platform for all tenants at SM properties, retail affiliates, hotels, convention centers, and office buildings. You can use the same declaration which is valid for 24 hours in establishments where Trace Together is available.
- Promotes safety and convenience. Trace Together helps ensure safety as it is paperless and reduces physical contact. It addresses the tedious, repetitive and often unhygienic process of filling out forms in multiple stores, making the contact tracing process easier, faster and safer.
- Your privacy matters. The web-based system will only collect information volunteered by the user. SM also adheres to data privacy regulations and will not use any personal information for any purpose other than contact tracing.
