PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES September 29, 2023- SM Investments Corporation (SM Investments), one of the leading conglomerates in the Philippines, was recently awarded as one of Asia’s Outstanding Company for ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) by market last August 2023 by Hong Kong financial magazine Asiamoney. The company earned the highest number of votes for the Philippines in the said category.
BDO Unibank, SM Investments’ banking arm, was also awarded by Asiamoney for the Banking category in the Philippines.

Over 1,200 fund managers, analysts, bankers and ratings agencies were surveyed and 7,653 votes in total were garnered for the selection of the outstanding companies for publicly listed companies across 12 markets in Asia.
