Taal Vista Hotel was aglow with the bright lights of the holidays as the hotel celebrated its 74th anniversary and ushered in the Christmas Season with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony last November 23, 2013.
The program opened with Welcome Remarks from Mr. Walid Wafik, General Manager of Taal Vista Hotel and was followed by A Christmas message from SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation President, Ms. Elizabeth Sy.
Adding warmth to the celebration were the children from the Chosen Children’s Village in Silang, Cavite who together with Ms. Sy participated in the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony held at the hotel garden located near the main entrance. The tree lighting ceremony signified the start of the Christmas season.
In the spirit of giving, Taal Vista Hotel in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation made the wish of two teenage cancer patients come true. The two teens, 17 year old Remelyn Mandal and 15-year-old Dona Tomes wished to go to Tagaytay for a day. Remelyn and Dona along with their families were treated to an overnight stay at the hotel and were guests of honor at the event.
